The Ellipse 2023 Prize is launched and open to Togolese and African artists residing in Togo, aged between 18 and 40 and not represented by an international gallery. Applications will be open from March 6 to April 30, 2023, on the website of ELLIPSE.
Interested artists will have to submit a portfolio of works and an exhibition project related to the theme “Dreamy Memory“. The jury, composed of contemporary art professionals and specialists of the Togolese scene, will select the five finalists in May.
The winner announced in June will receive a number of benefits, including a solo show at the fair AKAA – Also Known As Africa on the stand of Ellipse Art Projects, from 20 to 22 October 2023. He will also benefit from a professional accompaniment tailored to his needs, a communication campaign following the different phases of the project, as well as two double pages in an art book published on the occasion of the fair.
