After his exhibition on « Les lignes de ville », « Afrocity, urbanités enchantées » in Nantes, « Mascarade » and « L’Art’Trine » in Cotonou, the Beninese painter Hector Sonon shares his journey with the Nigerian public for a month since January 15, 2022 at the CCFN Jean Rouch in Niamey. 

Hector Sonon, result of the society whose activities and scents feed his motivation and open wide his eyes on a range of subjects. He uses these perceptions, his curiosity in order to attract the consideration of his fellow men on elements that normally leave them indifferent.

Having discovered his abilities as an illustrator since the age of 17, today Hector Sonon offers us, through a multitude of different mediums, striking works and transmits to each guest his vision of the world based on his encounters, his awareness and his individual stories and plunges us into the heart of daily existence.
