Montresso Art Foundation launches its call for applications for the 2023 season !

Since 2009, Montresso Art Foundation has set up Jardin Rouge, a residency for artists in the Marrakech region.

A place for reflection and creation, Jardin Rouge intends to foster exchanges between imaginative cultures and allows specialists to set up projects as part of their residencies.

In collaboration with the artist, Montresso Art Foundation approves his project and provides him with the necessary specialized, material and financial means.

Jardin Rouge is a true laboratory of inventiveness whose goal is to bring out creative thoughts.

A place of diversity, Jardin Rouge wants to go beyond the possibility of being a place of creation, by also being a place of meeting and artistic expansion. It can be visited by appointment and welcomes a public ranging from collectors to beginners to critics or even experts of the art world.

From time to time, events are also coordinated at Jardin Rouge and outside its walls to offer artists the opportunity to benefit from visibility in Morocco and abroad.

As an artistic residence, Jardin Rouge is open to painters, photographers and sculptors from all over the world. The artist is invited to do his own research in reverberation with the unique setting where he is located.

The duration of the residency is fixed at a minimum of one month and a maximum of 90 days.

The artist may be invited to return to continue his or her exploration on the basis of the underlying project or to improve on new tasks in agreement with the creative direction.

Jardin Rouge provides the artist with a working and living space so that he or she can find favorable conditions for his or her creation.  

Montresso Art Foundation assumes the financing of the artist’s production.

The call for applications is open until December 15, 2022.
