Addis Fine Art Gallery, London, in collaboration with Circle Art Gallery and AfriArt Gallery, is pleased to present “Eastern Voices : Contemporary Artists from East Africa“. This group exhibition brings together eighteen outstanding artists from across East Africa. Until July 22, 2023, discover unique and immersive works of art by contemporary artists from Sudan, Eritrea, Egypt, Ethiopia, Uganda and Kenya.
The collective exhibition “Eastern Voices: Contemporary Artists from East Africa” aims to establish a contemporary dialogue and highlight the osmosis between artists and galleries working in East Africa. Indeed, these spaces dedicated to contemporary art from East Africa actively promote and support artists living and working on the African continent. African artistic talent is thus brought to the forefront of the world stage, offering the public a fresh and passionate vision of African art.
Beyond an exhilarating panorama of works of art, the exhibition “Eastern Voices: Contemporary Artists from East Africa” reveals the artistic collaboration between artists and art galleries in the promotion of contemporary African art. Participating artists include Amel Bashier, Gor Soudan, April Kamunde, Engdaye Lemma, Boniface Maina, Charlene Komuntale, Ermias Ekube, Henry Mzili Mujunga, Souad Abdelrasoul, Adiskidan Ambaye, Mona Taha, Nigatu Tsehay, Richard Atugonza, Sanaa Gateja, Tahir Karmali, Yasmeen Abdullah and Kaleab Abate, Shabu Mwangi.
