For its tenth edition, DDESSINPARIS will take place from May 19 to 22 at the Molière, a private hotel located between the Palais de la Bourse and the remarkable site of the BnF, and will invite twelve French and international galleries. It will also award the « DDESSIN 22 Prize » in partnership with the French Institute of Saint-Louis Villa N’Dar of Senegal.

As a contemporary drawing cabinet, DDESSINPARIS has the essential mission of being the Parisian springboard of the French and international art scene, which seeks to attract each of its structures. For more than 10 years, the event has contributed to the recognition of young specialists and the advancement of more established talents who energize and water this medium. DDESSINPARIS continues to support, promote and accompany artists – actors and gallery owners – of current and future drawing.

Dedicated to its proximity organization, allowing to create real links between gallery owners, artists, collectors and art lovers, DDESSINPARIS takes up, this year again, the challenge of sharing seconds rich in revelations and exchanges in an iridescent setting and a well disposed environment.

Since its creation in 2013, the DDESSINPARIS Prize promotes renowned artists, chosen by a jury composed of experts and personalities from the art world. It is on the occasion of this event that Rithika Merchant, presented by Galerie LJ, winner of the DDESSINPARIS Prize last year, will benefit from a one-month residency at the Villa Saint-Louis Ndar, in Senegal, in November 2022.
